The award was presented at the FDI World Dental Congress in Prague, Czech Republic, recognising Arrow Dental Centre’s World Oral Health Day campaign and its impact in taking oral-health education beyond the dental clinic and into communities across Kenya.
The Kenya Dental Association also recognised Arrow Dental Centre as the global winner of the Most Engaging Community Campaign for World Oral Health Day 2026.

From Kenya to the World
Arrow Dental Centre’s award-winning campaign, “Smiles Without Borders: Kenya’s Largest Community-Driven Oral Health Movement,” ran from October 2025 to April 2026, taking oral-health education into schools, communities, places of worship, workplaces and digital spaces across Kenya.
Through community outreach, music, digital education, school programmes and partnerships, the campaign sought to make oral health easier to understand, easier to talk about and accessible to more people.
What started in communities across Kenya ultimately travelled all the way to the global stage. And in September 2026, Kenya brought the award home. 🇰🇪🏆
What Is the FDI World Oral Health Day Award?
FDI World Dental Federation represents the dental profession internationally and leads World Oral Health Day, observed globally every year on 20 March.
The World Oral Health Day Awards recognise outstanding oral-health campaigns from around the world, including campaigns demonstrating strong community engagement, collaboration, innovation and effective oral-health communication.
