CBCT X-RAY IN NAIROBI

3D Imaging for Precise Treatment Planning

Cone Beam CT (CBCT) gives your dentist a full three-dimensional view of your teeth, jaw and airway — available at our Digital Centre in Nairobi CBD.

What Is a CBCT Scan?

A CBCT scan (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) is a specialised 3D X-ray that captures your teeth, jawbone, nerve pathways and sinuses in a single rotation around your head. Unlike a standard 2D dental X-ray, a CBCT scan lets your dentist view your anatomy from any angle, measure bone depth and density precisely, and plan complex treatment with far greater accuracy.

Arrow Dental Digital Centre runs Kenya’s first CBCT X-ray with Artificial Intelligence, helping our clinicians capture highly accurate scans and generate detailed diagnostic reports to support treatment planning.

When CBCT Is Used

Your dentist may recommend a CBCT scan for cases where a standard X-ray doesn’t give enough detail to plan treatment safely, including:

  • Dental implant planning — measuring bone volume and locating nerves before surgery
  • Assessing impacted teeth, including wisdom teeth, before extraction
  • Complex root canal cases with unusual root anatomy
  • Evaluating jaw joint (TMJ) problems
  • Orthodontic and orthognathic treatment planning
  • Diagnosing cysts, infections or other abnormalities in the jaw

Where to Get a CBCT Scan

CBCT imaging is available at the Arrow Dental Digital Centre, 5th Floor, Pension Towers, Loita Street, Nairobi CBD — directly above our main CBD clinic.
