Digital smile design uses software to plan your smile and show you the result before treatment begins. It is most useful when you are planning veneers, whitening or a full smile makeover and want to see the outcome first. It is available at our Digital Centre on the 5th floor of Pension Towers.

How does it work?

  1. Photos and scans. We record your teeth, your smile and your face.
  2. Your goals. You tell us what you would like to change, and what you would rather keep.
  3. A digital design. We shape the new smile on screen so that you can see it and comment on it.
  4. Your treatment plan. Once you are happy, the design guides the work, whether that is whitening, masking, veneers or crowns.

Why plan digitally?

Cosmetic treatment is hard to judge from words alone. Seeing a design first lets you say “shorter” or “less white” before anything is done to your teeth, not after. It also gives you and your dentist a shared reference for the result.

A design shows what is planned. The final result can differ slightly, because it also depends on your natural teeth and how they heal and respond to treatment.

What might the plan include?

Ask about the cost of your plan at your consultation, which starts from KES 1,500.

Still not sure? Ask a dentist

Tell us what is going on and we will tell you plainly what it needs, what it costs and what your cover pays for.
