How much do braces cost in Kenya?

At Arrow Dental, braces start from KES 90,000 per jaw, or KES 160,000 for both jaws. Most people need both jaws treated, and payment plans are available. The final price depends on how much movement your teeth need, which we can only tell you after an examination and X-ray.

What makes braces cost more or less?

• How far the teeth have to move. Simple crowding can take under a year. A complex bite correction can take up to three.
• One jaw or both. Treating both jaws costs more in total, but less per jaw.
• What has to happen first. If you have gum disease or decay, that is treated before braces go on.

What are the cheapest braces in Kenya?

Metal braces are the least expensive option and, clinically, the most versatile. They can correct cases that other appliances cannot, so if budget is the deciding factor they are not a compromise.

Be careful with braces sold online or fitted without an examination. Moving teeth without X-rays and a plan can damage the roots and gums, and fixing that usually costs more than proper treatment would have.

How do you pay for braces?

You pay a deposit at the start, then the balance in instalments aligned with your follow-up visits. Treatment usually runs 18 to 24 months, which spreads the cost. Orthodontics may be partly covered by SHA or insurance when it is medically necessary, and we confirm that before you commit.
